Congratulations, Taylor!

By July 25, 2008, Taylor Swift had accomplished more in her lifetime than most of her peers—or most of America for that matter. But one thing that she has longed for throughout her whirlwind of fame has finally happened. She got her diploma.

“Education has always been at the forefront of my priorities, so I’m really glad to have my diploma,” she told the A.P.

Swift went to high school in 9th and 10th grades, but after her career demanded more time, attention, and flexibility, she switched to Aaron Academy, which is a private Christian school that offers home school.

And what does Swift think? “I never expected that my senior year would go the way it has. There’s something really exciting about getting to live your dream and continue your education at the same time,” she said.
